Ground Mount Solar Alanya

Land-based premium solar systems for Alanya villas with gardens, estates and larger properties.

Ground mount solar farm

For luxury villas and estates where the rooftop alone cannot provide the desired generation capacity — or where maximising output takes priority over roof integration — ground mount solar is the ideal complement or alternative.

A well-designed ground mount system generates 10–15% more electricity than the equivalent rooftop installation, because panels can be positioned at the precise optimal tilt and azimuth angle. For Alanya's latitude, this is typically 25–30° facing south — uncompromised by roof orientation.

Garden & Estate Integration

For luxury properties, ground mount systems need not be utilitarian. We design structures using powder-coated steel in colours that blend with your garden, specify inter-row spacing that allows garden planting beneath panels, and position arrays to be screened from principal views where desired.

Specifications

  • Hot-dip galvanised or powder-coated steel structures
  • Fixed optimal tilt or single-axis tracking (+18–22% yield)
  • System sizes: 10 kWp garden systems to 500+ kWp estates
  • Agrivoltaic option: garden planting beneath elevated arrays
  • Underground cabling to inverter room — invisible from garden

ROI

Ground mount systems cost approximately ₺11,000–₺14,000/kWp installed. A 30 kWp system generates 46,500 kWh/year — worth ₺162,750 at current rates. Payback: 2–3 years for a villa with high daytime consumption.

As a guide, allow approximately 10–14 m² of usable land per kWp installed, including inter-row access spacing. A 20 kWp system needs around 200–280 m² of garden or land.
Yes. We can elevate panels to 2.5 m height for gardening access, and partial shade beneath panels can benefit certain plants. Lavender, herbs and low-growing ornamentals perform well in agrivoltaic environments.

Utility-Scale Ground Mount: Investing in a Solar Power Plant

A ground-mounted solar power plant is a generation facility — anywhere from a few hundred kWp to several MW — built on non-agricultural land suited to energy investment. As Turkey pursues its 2030 targets, ground-mount projects present genuinely attractive opportunities for private and institutional investors alike. For those holding idle land in the interior — around Isparta, Burdur or the wider Antalya province — a ground-mount plant can become a substantial source of passive income.

Licensing and Permitting for Ground-Mount Plants

There are two principal legal routes for ground-mount projects in Turkey:

What Makes a Site Suitable

The technical and legal criteria that determine whether a parcel of land suits a ground-mount investment:

Operation and Maintenance (O&M)

For a commissioned ground-mount plant we provide full operation and maintenance services:

Answers Before You Commit

The questions we are asked most often as clients weigh a solar investment — answered plainly:

My supply is single-phase — is that a problem?

A single-phase (220V) connection is perfectly suitable for homes, and single-phase systems can be installed up to a maximum of 10 kWp. For larger systems that require a three-phase supply, we can arrange the necessary connection upgrade with the distribution utility on your behalf.

What happens if snow falls on the panels?

Snowfall is exceedingly rare along the Alanya coast. Even so, because the panel surface is gently inclined, the little that does settle slides off within a few hours. Unless the snow exceeds about 3 cm there is no meaningful loss of output — and in any case, even the winter sun here delivers enough irradiance to keep the system productive.

Can a neighbour object? Do I need permission?

For detached houses a municipal permit is generally not required (up to 10 kWp). In apartment blocks and gated communities, approval from the residents' management board is needed. If you are a tenant, the owner's written consent is essential. We provide legal and technical support throughout every one of these steps.

What happens if I sell the property?

You can either transfer the system with the property or have it dismantled and reinstalled at a new location. The net-metering agreement passes to the new owner. International studies consistently show that properties with a solar system command a 3–8% higher market value.

Your Solar Investment, Step by Step
